Sprint new home phone service price in usa and plan review. Sprint recently launched the new Phone Connect System 1, providing home phone service for a price of $20/month.
Sprint Home Phone Service Plan
This new services offers homeowners and small business customers two cordless phones for $49.99 with a new line or eligible upgrade and two-year service agreement (excluding taxes). When customers bundle that with Sprint’s Phone Connect plan, they get unlimited local and domestic long-distance calling while on the Sprint network for $19.99 per month (excluding taxes and surcharges). It also contains two Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunication (DECT) phones and can support up to four handsets (though additional handsets are sold separately).
At present there is also another product, Sprint Phone Connect 2 which is offered for users who already have their own conventional corded or cordless phones. It consists of a a plug-and-play device lets users plug their existing office or home land-line phone into the Sprint Phone Connect terminal and use the features they are accustomed to from a land-line phone provider. Sprint claims that device is compatible with most of the conventional corded and cordless phones.
Verizon Wireless Home Phone Connect, AT&T Wireless Home Phone service and U.S. Cellular Home Phone device are some others who are already there in the market providing similar services. Its also noted that some carriers are also providing internet connection as an extra add-on on this home phone service. Anyhow with the Sprint also coming into the arena, we are expecting to to see more features and cheap pricing for the upcoming home phone service plans for the wireless carriers.
